I added two Avril Lavigne song lyrics for "bonus tracks" as well as the lyrics to the albums Fallen and Origin by Evanescence. I didn't add any of them to the lyrics by artist or topic areas because they pretty much all belong there and I've sort of lost control of those areas organization wise. I've separated Maya Angelou's pages into their own section as you'll see if you expand "fight" to your left. I then added a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson in the "[no so] daily words of wisdom page."

Five new photos taken on January 16 with my new camera are posted. Purely experimental. They were obviously taken on a nice sunny day here in California and actually take some explanation. The plane and moon (obviously) were dots on the actual picture but I was testing out the 12 megapixel option by seeing how clear the object was when far away. The flower and leaves are a bit blury because my lense didn't like the close-up option and wouldn't let me focus properly. But as I said, they are experimental and only the second time I had really used it.

I fixed the images in the guestbook, I didn't realize they weren't coming up even though I've been there tons of times since I changed the theme. I'm going to be putting a ton of free images on the server which I've had up in previous versions and on varous other domains but they were moved and deleted so many times I forgot about them. I'll let you know when they're ready. I also wanted to put up new lyrics because I just bought Green Day's American Idiot album and Vanessa Carlton's Harmonium. I think i was wrong to believe i'd never get sick of "White Houses" though.

Obviously, a new theme finally. There are some updates in About > Current and various other maintenance updates. I haven't had time to do much in the way of actual updates but I have lots planned. I spent all day configuring an Apache server which I would use for images an things as my computer doesn't have the backup required for a stable website. I've added some songs from Avril Lavigne's new album Under My Skin but I haven't had time to do all of them as you'll see. Also, I started working on a fun quiz some time ago but haven't had time to debug it so that's on my list as well. If I can get this one done I'll be able to do more. I'd like to add Mary-Kate's "recovery" or weak attempt at one to "Inspire" but I haven't been keeping up on it so if anyone has any info they can give me I'd definitely give you credit for the info. Along with anything else you want to contribute. I'd love for the book reviews and similar non-personal content to become more community based as I don't have the time I used to have working 50 hours a week and going to one doctor's appointment after another. I'll probably be sending email via webmaster@personalized-hosting.com rather than this domain because none of my email accounts seem to be working with MS Outlook these days. Well I'm off, I have a doctor's appointment before work tomorrow *sigh*. Please let me know if anything isn't up to snuff in the new theme. I just now finished all the lyrics for Everclear's album, Slow Motion Daydream. You can find them by going to "media > album lyrics" in the navigation menu. Then in the right frame, either scroll down to Everclear or click "e" in the alphabetical links. Then just lick on the Slow Motion Daydream link in the Everclear section. I also plan to put some of these songs in the "media > lyrics by topic" section next. I'm also adding new webrings almost weekly so check out the Ringmaster page. The rings are totally random so don't expect a bunch of rings about the same thing. I actually have very few rings that are similar to another. I hate when fifty rings about the same thing are owned by one person. It makes those rings all the same in the form of membership, rules, traffic, etc. and I personally don't want to be a member of two rings by the same person unless they're different topics.

Okay, no more complaining, If you can't figure out how to navigate the site now, that's not my fault. I've changed it from how I wanted it so MAYBE those who have been left in the dust will get the hint. also, there's a new webring in rings if you're interested.

I've gone through and checked all the images (except I just rememberd about the ones in "inspire") and they're all working, with the possible exception of one which seems to greatly dislike me today. I've also taken screenshots of all the past layouts that I have and I've posted the images in the talk/layout section. With the exception of ahv4, they all load within 5 seconds for me on a 56k modem. (the images in "personality quizzes" are not my responsibility, see their owners if you think they load too slow) Also, I don't see why the main image is such a huge deal, If you're one of the people protesting the time it takes to load, then don't wait for it to load! Just click on it and enter the site. Otherwise, as loading speed goes for the site itself, there's nothing I care to do at the moment and this isn't a click-through type of site anyhow so if you're not here to read the content, why else would you come? so loading time shouldn't be an issue. The loading time on the "photo" and "sketch" pages are gonna take more time to fix because I'll have to edit all the images on each page, so since they start loading from the top of the page and go down, keep that in mind if you're trying to view the thumbnail for the last image on the page. And they WILL NOT load if you click on any of the image links before the page has completed loading. Don't come to me and say there are broken links. Also a tip for any site: if there is an error or you think a page has been updated since you were there last but it isn't showing up, hit F5 and it will reload. Some errors are server errors and all you need to do is hit F5 and everyting will work fine. I've checked everything, and there's nothing here that doesn't work that I don't already know about so don't come to me complaining please. K sorry, I'm done ranting, I just get sick of complainers and their requirements for webrings, who's to say it's even my site's fault. Maybe it's their computer's fault. Are they running Kazaa while they view my site? That might be something to consider. If you have a 56k modem, you won't have a problem and if you have a slower modem, it's not my responcibility to accomidate you. Enough said, I'm shutting up now.

in the annabellasong section, black and white photos is completely finished for both here and annabellasong.com and color photos is about halfway done, the page is written up and the full size images are ready, i just don't have thumbnails for you to look at yet. It got a little boring. If you have a 56k modem, the loading time should be fine for the thumbnails, better if you have a faster connection though. If all the images don't load or if any page on this or annabellasong don't load for some reason, if you click on the page link again, it should attempt to reload. I'm also working on the Tips and Tricks article 2 which will be on images for beginners and image maps (by hand) for advanced users, since it doesn't seem like anyone really takes the time to use them. They're really very simple. Anyhow, for ownership info on the annabellasong.com stuff, you'll have to go to that site for the time being. Though everything there is either freeware or owned by me and can be used for personal use only.

I've gotten the sections from annabellasong.com posted on the menu here except for the fonts. I still haven't figured out if the server there sucks permanently or if it's a temporary problem so I'll continue working with it in both places. Right now I'm on a writing kick so there will be some new articles up at the egroup until I'm bored of that, then they'll be more regular (not like the ezine hopefully which became a lot of work to put together). There's no structure just yet with how I'll come up with topics to write about but the first article is on beginner style sheets and advanced style. And of course it's an open group so anyone can post questions and answers to the articles or any other web design related topic. Also, all the images have been uploaded for the sketch and photo pages and wherever else but I haven't double checked them. Also, I've deleted all the images in the books section of voice because I don't think many people look at the page so the images seemed ridiculously unnecessary.

As you can see I've redone things a little. I just couldn't stand looking at that woman with the orange eye any longer. The bright colors were hurting my eyes. But I'm very happy with it now so I'll try to stop changing things. I have to get annabellasong.com up and running again (which i don't understand why it isn't in the first place so that may be a problem) but we're back in business here anyhow. If you want to ask each other questions about building your own sites, you should go ask them at [simplicity of reflection] egroup, you don't have to join to ask questions and you don't have to give out your e-mail addresses to post. It's been almost a month and v18.0 will be finished shortly. It links you directly to AnnabellaSong.com so you don't have to go to the effort of going there to view it. Let me know if there are any bugs and I'll fix them right away. It uses cookies but my advise to you is to disable them, it seems more convenient to me and I can't get rid of them without screwing up the script so...whatever. It just keeps track of what folders you've opened but if I update, your browser won't show it for a while.

When I'm done here I'm gonna go write the "info" page for the "fonts" section so you will all know exactly what it's there for and how to use it. Also, I've got some new scripts to add to the "web":scripts section such as unspammable e-mail addresses and a "back" link and...some other stuff I've accumulated.

Either my server isn't cooperating or my brain isn't, I can't decide which. Probably a bit of both. I swear I've uploaded the fonts page like three times and it still isn't visible so I'm gonna give it another shot, if it doesn't upload this time, i give up. There's also lots of issues with it but I've moved on to bigger and better things so It's gonna be a bit longer before it's completely complete. I should be ready to start hosting websites soon as well on any one of my three domains but for now I'm just setting up annabellasong.com for this. I'm currently debating between 20MB and 30MB for my first couple users, and between 10MB and 20MB for those after. I haven't decided much of anything, it's gonna take some more time to set up and have cgi scripts available but I'm just rambling here. It's coming anyhow, sometime in the hopefully very near future. I've added a new page to the "web" section which has available some scripts I've used on this site and some I've used for...play and found interesting or useful. Many more to come. Also, i haven't listed their sorces yet beyond what the scripts already list but they're pretty much all from DHTMLShock, JavaScriptKit, or DynamicDrive. There was a new journal entry last week, I'm not sure I mentioned it, new pages to "fight" in a day or two depending on my motivation, and if you hadn't noticed, I'm looking to split this site into two, one for personal stuff (which is kind of lacking in new material these days) and one for web design and web hosting etc. which doesn't have an abundance of material yet but there's more to learn in the meantime before I can create an entire site about it. Questions regarding...anything let me know. If you like a background or page style or anything on this site, just let me know and I'll send it over to you. I'm also going to be adding some new links for downloading free software to create the cool images you see all over the place (except here unfortunately. Soon though!). I hope you're all still enjoying the site.

Okay...the "fonts" page is up. It's still in progress so freak out over blank pages or anything. I've listed and posted fonts through "m" but as of this moment I only have sample images (which aren't finished either by the way) through "c". There are 863 fonts right now (total through "z") and I am aware some images don't work, I'll get to that when I get the remainder of the pages going.

I'm finally finished with all the messy stuff. Backgrounds are done for now, until I change my mind about one of them of course, and so is the style stuff. I'm going to move on to the "dos" and "clips" sections now. Let me know if something on the new site isn't working out, and I'll see what I can do.

Well, I think v17.0 is finished. I've replaced the backgrounds for the news and options pages and I've fixed the ugly orange scrollbars. There's also a new page at fight just for valentine's: "six signs he's head over heals (internet relationships). Also, I'm putting together a collection of clipart and cool fonts for another new section of the (web design) section of the site. (afterthought) I forgot though that I totally hate the "menu" background so that's gonna go as soon as I get the motivation.

For the last week I've been working on v17.0 of Amas Veritas. The reason it's taking so long is because I'm quite indecisive about backgrounds. I'm also having a bit of trouble because Corel isn't working so I'm having to find other means to cut up my backgrounds...which has been unsuccessful, search-wise. I'm hoping for just a few days though for the new layout. It's much more...colorful.

So the zine's been posted, and "delivered" (though not edited like I mentioned in the last "news" post) and once again I'm out of things to do, or the motivation to do them. So, I've created an OPEN egroup (meaning you don't have to be a member to post) for those who need help with their websites. It's for those of you using notepad or some other text editor to create your page, meaning no "FrontPagers." If you want to post or join, go to simplicity-of-reflection. A few other things are gonna be updated such as the webrings page, current info about me, and the "fight" page as soon as I get some motivation to do so.

Well, I just found out last night that this layout looks awful at 800x600 resolution so...I'm not sure what I'm gonna do yet. I'll play with it this weekend and see what I can come up with, I may just scrap the whole project but we'll see. I'm also working on a page that shows the layout of previous versions. It's taking me a while because I'm actually getting the old layouts back up and working, minus all the material, and it's not as easy as I was anticipating. And versions 11-15 or so are relatively the same so I'm not sure what I'm gonna do there. Anyhow, hang in there, it's all coming along slowly but surely.

I added a page to the voice section called "My Declaration of Self-Esteem" and I updated the SI/Depression quotes and the "Just Checking" quotes which I hadn't finished when I finished the book for some reason. I also made a sort of "caution" message on the ED quotes page so that it doesn't open up to quotes, it opens up to a message asking if you want to continue, just in case you click on it by accident.

I've added two new poems that I wrote in group today. The first one is just a product of my boredom and the second was an assignment. The facilitator gave us a poem in which he had removed specific words and phrases which we were then supposed to fill in ourselves. I got an applause and a "Wow I think yours is better than the original"...I definitely think you'd have to hear the original to believe that. Anyhow, sorry for the lack of updates, my head is just spinning and I can't get anything done. Sleep, partial, sleep, veg, sleep, partial...It's quite an occasion if I can persuade myself to do something a little more...productive.

Okay I've done a few things but only little by little so nothing's completely finished yet. Today I completely re-organized the Eating Disorder Treatment Centers links page, added many new links, categorized them by location, and checked the links for accuracy. I'm about on Massachusetts as far as adding links goes so if I've missed one that you'd like me to put up there please let me know. The Tracey Gold page has some more info about her, I don't want it to be finished, but we'll see. Two new images on the Photo page, one of the Brand Park Fire which I took from my backyard and another of a little mole that had just died outside my front door, I'd never seen one before dead or alive. One new journal entry from my drunken tirade last night, and as you will notice I've deleted a couple topics from the links page because they were a little more "pro" than I wanted. That's about all for this weekend.

Considering I have an issue of the zine due out in one day, five hours and thirty minutes and i still have an article to write and an art space to fill, I'm not sure what else I'm gonna get done between now and then but I hope to make some more progress on the album lyrics and some backdated journal entries posted, but no promises. Basically, most everything major's been updated. Books, Site Reviews, Current Stats, new photography up soon, new Silly Surveys, Book Reviews, new Site Banners, Verse a little since the last update and Words (Journal) is updated quite regularly. I can't imagine that's it, it feels like I've done a lot more but I can't think of anything at the moment. Also, I had someone mention they couldn't find the guestbook, it's under "Voice" in the Communicate section on that page. I'm thinking of making a more accessable link but that will have to be done some other time, maybe I'll try for later today.

So...*tear* I only have one member who kept the code up although the link wasn't acturate..we'll see if that gets taken care of soon. I forgot to post my zine which I'll do now but I've just come up with my new topic and I may ony have one this issue so that I can really elaborate on it since it's an important one to me. I'm not sure how I'm going to do research-wise since images, descriptions, talk of any kind of cutting is triggering for me and I'm afraid I won't have my razors as far away for much longer and I don't yet know where else to put them. I could throw them out but it's easy enough to go buy new ones. I do fear what consequences that will bring though if I do cut...anyhow, it this is something for the journal...that's all I can think of now.

Also version five of the about me section was posted, maybe nothing kenw, i didn't reread version four so...whatever. also, if you have been having trouble getting on using netscape, i'm afraid that netscape isn't accepting my open.window script or some aspect of it so i'll work with that and test it out since my primary browser isn't netscape. it may turn out that you're just outta luck with netscape, you obviously got here if you use it so i just suggest you don't go back to netscape, it sucks anyhow. anyhow, enjoy.

i've added a page of book reviews and as of 1:22am I have reviewed 17 books on eating disorders, depression, self injury, and poetry though there are many others to come on novels, horrors, and non-fiction. I will continue working until I find something better to do but That may or may not be within the next couple of hours. I've also re-written the webrings/cliques page so that it's a little more aesthetically pleasing. I have applied for a new clique and in doing so, I realized that I was not happy with the page that really needed to look respectable. If you are a ring/clique owner and do not like the changes i have made, please let me know, though I may prefer to be removed from the ring rather than jeporadize the look of this page.

I think every time I update i'm so not in the mood or it's so early in the morning that I just can't stand to update another page...including this one. So, getting on with it--i've updated various little things to make this appear to be version 11 of Anonymous Home at a new domain. you probably won't even notice the change.

unfortunately, I think my last update was erased because I mentioned and update a day or two ago and now it's gone. Hm. Well anyways, I JUST added a poem I wrote just after I left the hospital but put it under July in the poetry page because I know you all come here to read new stuff, not old. So, as i mentioned in the mysteriously missing update a few days ago, there are many new journal entries and various other updates including a brief "about me" section where I encourage you to ask questions and come back often for updates. Well, I'd better attend to my other duties. I'll talk soon, and hopefully a new poem in the next couple of days. I feel newly inspired.

Finally, the project is complete...I finished the calorie counter after many many hours and days. There may also be journal entries that I have yet to mention. Actually, I think I will post some so yes, there are new journal entries about ten to twenty minutes after I finish writing this update. I think that's about it. The calorie counter just took up all of my time so I didn't get much else done. Also I've been working on my other site which also took up a significan amount of my time.

I'm back! and better than ever. (well, not exaclty). I've given up sleeping. I get so much done between the hours of midnight and 6:00am and it's all I can do these days to keep my spirits up. That sense of accomplishment. My days are filled with an overwhelming sense of failure and it gets harder each day to shrug it off. I have to leave in four hours and fifteen minutes, definitely not enough time to sleep. My eyelids are getting heavy though. I'm watching Insomniac Music Theater and the songs aren't helping. They're all sad and depressing. I need for instance Linkin Park. Anyhow, this should all go in the journal but i'm too lazy to change screens. So I've updated just the past few journal entries (about six) and a survey just for kicks. I'd like to eventually post the answers in a graph or something like that. Okay, I'll shut up now.

I know it's been one month since I mentioned updates but I have been updating since I left the hospital I just didn't note them here. Many of you have e-mailed me for my URL and I appreciate it. I'm never really sure if anyone's looking at my webpage or not. I hope the "new" layout works for all of you. I have fallen madly in love with it. i'm going in search for a job next week so I will probably have more to say once I get one. I wish all of you the best in which ever road you choose, good or bad. I for one have chosen the bad, at least for the time being.

Welcome and congrats on finding me. There was one person with my address who shouldn't have had it so I had to move without informing anyone of the new address. The only thing I have to say is I love images so if you have a site and want me to link to it with (or without) an image by all means let me know. I'm just sitting around looking for images (small ones) to add to my links page. Oh and I have checked every image on this site. If one or more do not load then it's not my fault. Just right click and choose "show picture" and it should come up. Otherwise, don't blame me.

Okay, enough of that. I have a NEW page that shows the colors (only 44 of them) that you can use for your website and if you hover over the color with your cursor, the name and code for the color comes up. Hope this can be of some help to you in your efforts to create a webpage.

Yeah, anyhow I hope you like it better here. I do. I hated those stupid banners all over the place. So I've change things...a lot. No more art or photography, I just couldn't stand looking at it anymore in my filemanager thingy. Every other file was an image. I've also updated my "future projects" page and the "legal disclaimer" because they despirately needed some re-vamping. I think that's about it. Enjoy a banner free look around.

I've posted four poems and a new journal entry. If you care to read more than my journal, e-mail me and I'll give you my LiveJournal to look at which is 100% more honest and revealing. Also, I've put together a page showing all 140 colors (that are given in html books) and you can view that page by clicking here. I have to modify some colors because when I uploaded, some pages got mixed around. If you like a color and want the code, right click and select "view source", the code is the "background" color. If you want the name of the color you might want to wait until I've finished reloading the colors but if you can't wait then just take your chances and check out the Properties of the frame. The file name is the name of the color. Additionally, I want to help those of you who don't know how to do frames because as you can tell, I enjoy them too much. So, to solve this problem, I am offering to write codes for anyone who wants them. The easiest way to do this would be for you to draw out a picture of what you want and scan them into your computer and send it to me. Then I will write the code ASAP and send it off to you. Finally, I'm feeling really suicidal so to keep myself busy and distracted I'm going to make some major changes around here. To start off, I am going to change the color scheme. For those of you who don't like green (including myself) I apologize.

I added another poem also called Untitled and it's my favorite of all the poems in that form, maybe even my favorite of all but that's just my preference. Hope you like it. Oh and sorry for all these "untitled" poems, but I think the name allows you to assume certain things and I want to avoid that.

So I'm having some minor technical difficulties with images so just bare with me. I've also (as you can see) added an option on the opening page which takes the links page out of the site and makes it available to view without having to go through the possibly triggering material inside. Since I have lost all trust in people I am now going to make it a little bit harder to take my pictures. I am forced to do this because people have started taking my pictures without asking. I would really like to bring this to an end very quickly because i am having enough trouble with trusting people. This is really slowing that down and making my life a little bit more difficult. Thanks so much for that.

I added some poems but they are not new. They are journal entries that work (sometimes better) as poems because various places rhyme. I have also changed the style of the guestbook and the message board since i forgot to change it when the colors of my site changed. I want to thank all of you who have signed my guestbook. It really makes me feel better. I guess you could say i have a minor (or not so minor??) case of paranoia and i worry that this layout is too simple. I like the colors but I know there's something else out there at least some of you would like better. It's those of you who would prefer i didn't change the layout every week or two that i worry about. But I also try to change the layout for those of you who would rather have something new to see on a regular basis. I haven't been writing much lately with school starting today and I worry i'll lose my audience. Let me know if there is any aspect of this site that you would like to see more of, or less of, or page layouts you prefer. You can e-mail me if you have any comments or suggestions. And honestly, when people tell me their prefs, i feel less worried because then i know what they want rather than trying to accomidate and anticipate what everyone might like better. If you tell me, there's one less thing i am able to worry about.

I updated the webrings list of rings. most are yahoo webrings but there are some that are ringsurf (much better) I hate that banner yahoo has for the webrings. It really isn't the best thing. I prefer the more simple ring logo. Anyhow, I'm still working out some problems with images and the such. School starts tomorrow so I probably won't be changing things around so much. sorry for that--I just couldn't be idle over winter break. I'll stick with updating this version for a while. i hope you all don't mind. no new designs for a while.
